About NomineeNominee's Organization Fountain Valley High School Nominators affiliation to nominee: Teacher Tell us how he/she is making a difference: If our student news organizations the Baron Banner and Baron Broadcast News are the heart of our school's culture, (and they are) then Tue Duong is our school's soul. No single student has done more to share what makes our school special than Tue.
Tue's work has appeared on several occasions in one of the largest newspapers in Southern California. His videos have been shared world-wide. About the NomineeBrief Comments - What other facts should we know about your nominee? Where one should begin, I honestly cannot fathom. This "Tue" persona is much more than the average set of eyes. Not even the terms "inspiration" nor "commitment" manage to describe such a living being. The amount of dedication to his craft is blindingly apparent through his services and sheer diligence to Fountain Valley High School. The expression of "role-model" fails to graze the surface in context of Tue, for his accomplishments alone have the power to change the lives of those around him.

About the NomineeBrief Comments - What other facts should we know about your nominee? Tue is an authentic leader on his campus and easy to collaborate with. He has the rare combination of a strong work-ethic, finely tuned skills and a creative vision. Tue loves video journalism and runs towards projects that challenge him. He was instrumental in helping me with my Google Teacher Academy video and he is always thinking ahead.

About the NomineeBrief Comments - What other facts should we know about your nominee? Tue is EVERYWHERE. He is committed not only to the millions of things going on at school, but to his community as well. Tue works incredibly hard in all that he does; something I feel, I would be crushed by. When I first met Tue, it surprised me how humble and kind he was, despite him being the incredibly popular and well-known senior. With the many, many things he does, you can still find Tue smiling and enjoying what he's doing- something I greatly admire him for. I look up to Tue and I definitely aspire to be someone as inspiring as him. I can only hope he continues to showcase his creativity and skills wherever he may go.
