Mrs. Davis has a genuine love for children and their families. She is always providing helpful suggestions to the families and even to the children! She keeps in constant contact with the licensing agency in our state as well as being on many focus groups with the Commissioner of the licensing agency. Mrs. Davis is always looking for new ways to stay involved with other early childcare directors so her children knows what is expected of them.
Mrs. Davis is forever looking and adding new ways to better and benefit the entire families at her facility. She seldom make decisions about the children without first collaborating with us parents
+. She is one that know if the families (parents) are happy it makes for a terrific program. My wife and I were so grateful to have our children in her facility. They learned so much and now in kindergarten they are excelling off of the scale used to test them. Family engagement have and I know based on her curriculum's she provides will continue to be a huge part of her program. Lastly, Mrs. Davis facility is involved with doing community services. For each holiday the center passes out food baskets to the less fortunate. We the parents provide all the staple goods and Mrs. Davis and her husband purchase all the meats. She has a wonderful program and I hope she is selected to get the Bammy this year.

Mrs. Davis is the epitome of this award. Her drive and compassion for the children is unbelievable. She truly deserves this award more than anyone else!

Mrs. Davis is a very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate educator. both my daughters spent their first days of childcare with Mrs. Davis and they are all the better for it! Both (now ages 4 & 5) are very well-spoken and excelling in Montessori and kindergarten. Thanks for helping them get started right Mrs. Davis!

Ms. Linda what can I say about a woman with so much class? You said years ago that you wanted to teach and then you went to school to become a teacher. Do you remember when you can back to Peoria High and taught Larry Lavery driver's ed class? You were so nervous and didn't think you could do it but all of a sudden you said if you could teach children you could teach the older children. LOL From that point on you devoted all of your studies to early childcare education because that's where your heart lies. I am so proud of how far you have come and I look forward to how far you will continue to go. I wish you the best in winning the Bammy as it seems like a honor you so deserves.

Linda Davis should receive this award for her dedication and support of children and their families. She works extremely hard to ensure that education is number one and that the needs of all learners are met. She has outstanding communication skills, sees learning as life-long, and works with parents/guardians to ensure the success of all her children. Mrs. Davis implements various strategies and utilizes a plethora of resources so that her children experience real-world learning opportunities. I appreciate her patience, kindness, and genuineness and believe no one deserves this award more than her.
