Bammy awards

The votes have been counted! The finalists have been published!

During the week of May 21st through May 27th, the Council of Peers, members of the Academy of Education Arts and Sciences, voted on all nominees submitted and selected the finalists in 24 categories of educators.

Congratulations to all of the nominees who made the Bammy Awards' short list for 2014. Members of the list were selected because they are either world-class collaborators, made significant contributions to the field, or have modeled a valued quality of a 21st-Century educator. Independent of who ultimately receives the Bammy Award, each of the individuals on the list is making an important difference in the field, in her or his own unique way. Selection by the Council of Peers for the short list is a noteworthy distinction, recognizing the contributions of these educators who will now become part of the permanent national record we're building of the great work being done in education.
