Mrs. Roberts is honestly the best teacher you could have. She is amazing with kids and makes sure that you understand the concept you are going over. She is always willing to talk to one of her students, and finds creative ways to help her students actually have some hands on projects in which could help them focus to the subject more.

I have had the honor of meeting and learning from Pauline at the Microsoft Partners in Learning United States Forum in Seattle, Washington, and the Microsoft Partners in Learning Global Forum in Prague, Czech Republic. She simply understands how students learn and matches that with highly engaging lessons. She's so good at what she does, it forces you to work harder because you know she is working hard. I am lucky to know her. She deserves a Bammy.

Pauline is an amazingly talented and dedicated teacher who constantly seeks innovative ways to create learning and thinking experiences for her students. She understands that people are natural learners, ready to embark on explorations of inquiry and discovery. She embraces this truth and nurtures curiosity in her students. She does not see teaching as a job where she is simply imparting her knowledge to pupils - instead, Pauline typifies the teacher who helps children use their natural curiosity to explore, discover, and learn experientially and deeply. My daughter was fortunate to have Pauline for Math and my daughter's understanding, interest, and confidence in her Math abilities blossomed with Pauline as her teacher. I am so thankful that Pauline gave my daughter these gifts and helped her discover and appreciate her Math ability. Pauline also has a terrific sense of humor, she is always willing to discuss and share with parents, and she always has a positive attitude. For all these reasons, I think Pauline is deserving of the Bammy for Elementary School Teacher of the Year.

Pauline is passionate about the role she performs and always gives a 100% effort to her students to enable them to achieve the most from their studies.

Pauline Roberts is one of the hardest working, most innovative educators I know. Pauline’s brain never stops whirring, always acting in the service of her students. Her ability to bridge theory and practice is completely unparalleled. Pauline has a knack for motivating kids in ways teachers only dream of. She helps students see the validity of their education in a real-world context on a daily basis.

I have had the pleasure of serving as Pauline’s teaching partner for five years. In that time, Pauline’s commitment to project-based learning and her chronic passion to put our students’ work above all other interests has taken us from Vancouver to Seattle to Prague. We are a team of global teachers and learners, due largely to Pauline’s relentless pursuit of authentic learning and unwillingness to compromise the quality of her instruction. I can think of no other educator more worthy for this Bammy award than Pauline Roberts.
