About NomineeNominee's Organization Weidner School of Inquiry @PHS Nominators affiliation to nominee: Director of School Tell us how he/she is making a difference: Kelsey is the Director of Communication for the School of Inquiry, which many people on the outside of our school view as an over titled secretarial position. Kelsey has truly embraced this role and become the connector for our staff to the community. She regularly invites local and national experts in to serve as the panels for our students to present their projects to. She has mastered the art of getting people to say yes, and is a passionate supporter of our students and staff.

About the NomineeBrief Comments - What other facts should we know about your nominee? This spring, for the second year in a row, Kelsey mobilized the school and Plymouth community to come out and run in the St. Paddy's Day Dash to raise money for a student in need. The first year that Kelsey managed the race, in 2012, in 4 weeks she put together a 5K race that raised nearly $20,000 for a former Plymouth High School student who was suffering from brain cancer. This year, Kelsey organized the event again, raising money for a current student who has spent the year out of school while doing chemotherapy.
