Jamie Pitetti is an Autism Support teacher at Knapp Elementary School. She is not only responsible for meeting the needs of students in her classroom, she also serves as the mentor to other teachers, students and parents around the school in terms of building a level of awareness and capacity when it comes to children affected by autism. Each April, she provides an all-school, month-long autism rally to bring us together as a staff in how we see, hear and engage with those affected by autism.
