Our district recently adopted Apple TV with audio and video upgrades in EVERY classroom of 6 Early Childhood Centers and Elementary buildings, the Jr. High and our high school. We have also been trained in using new ipads and imacs for student use and more effective engagement in the classroom. This massive undertaking, along with incessant trouble-shooting, continues to be covered by Dave. He is "user friendly" when dealing with teachers who are unfamiliar with the new technology. He is available and helpful while encouraging us to be risk takers who need to leave our comfort zones behind! I can not imagine meeting these challenges in my classroom without Dave and his "open door" friendliness and patience.

About the NomineeBrief Comments - What other facts should we know about your nominee? Dave is a wonderful educator who is passionate about the many uses of technology in the classroom. He is constantly working on learning new skills and then modeling those skills for the teachers in his district and for his Discovery Education colleagues. I'm proud to call Dave a friend!
