| When Rae Pica interviewed educators on the red carpet at the inaugural Bammy Awards in 2012, the idea of celebrating educators with tuxedos and gowns, red carpet, limousines and paparazzi was clearly a new experience and many were not quite sure what to make of it. Some openly admitted being uncomfortable. Oh what a difference a year makes. Compare the image of Edchat founder Tom Whitby from 2012 on the left to his shot from 2013 on the right. The 2013 Bammy Awards were full of surprises. The surprise revealed in the photos this year is how much more comfortable attendees look on the red carpet compared to last year.
