About the Nominee

Comments - NOTE: You and your comment may be selected for the awards presentation. What would you say briefly?
David Kirp is a superlative choice. He has selected some of the most pressing issues in education for his research and has provided a lucid and analytic picture of matters along with a sensible and compelling strategy for doing the right thing. Underlying all of his work is a loathing of social injustice and a path to fairness and decency.
