Sheryl Warner is in the best position to prepare children for their lifelong education. She has been a licensed family child care provider since 1988. She is committed to providing high quality care and education to children in their early years. Because of her strong dedication to children and families, she has been Nationally Accredited through The National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) since 1995. She is very active with her local, county, state and national boards to support provider education and professional development. In 2011, was selected to serve on the NAFCC Accreditation Council where she works to ensure the integrity and accountability of the accreditation system.

Sheryl holds an AA in Child Development, BA in Early Childhood Studies and M. Ed in Instructional Design of Online Learning. She is a Reggio-inspired teacher and trainer valuing the child, the teacher and the parent in her approach to learning and teaching. She is most recently noted for her visionary work with The Minnesota Licensed Family Child Care Association (MLFCCA) Mentor Program. Providers across Minnesota have benefited from a variety of mentor programs. MLFCCA has provided mentors through the Parent Aware Getting Ready Project, the Building Quality Program and the Accreditation Facilitation Project. All Providers that are a part of these programs have benefited from one-on-one coaching. was the recipient of the 2011 MLFCCA Advocate of the Year award, the 2006 Terri Lynne Lokoff/Children’s Tylenol National Teacher Award and the 2006 NAFCC Four Star Award. Sheryl is devoted to providing high quality child care and enriching the field of family child care as a dedicated professional and advocate.
