Georgene is the Health Services Coordinator for Putnam City Schools, a public school district of 20,000 students. She is very active in NASN and SNOO, the Oklahoma affiliate. Also she follows closely laws and proposed legislation both nationally and in Oklahoma. Just 2 days ago she met with a couple of Oklahoma legislators to discuss the epinephrine debate (whether or not schools should purchase). Georgene gets thousands of emails with the school nurse discussion group/list serve so she can always stay on top of issues concerning school nursing. Her dedication to being informed with the latest info and to our 30 school clinics, RNs and staff here is remarkable.
