Joe Morelock is a visionary leader, both within and outside of his school district in Canby,OR. For years, he has been on the cutting edge of educational technology by promoting the use of iPods and iPads in Canby. He has created processes and programs for empowering teachers and supporting their work with children. Joe believes and trusts teachers to do their best, and supports them as much as possible. Joe tirelessly leds tours and answers questions about Canby's progress towards 21st century teaching and learning so that outsiders can benefit from the district's efforts and accomplishments.

Outside of his district, Joe lends his expertise to many other organizations including the Apple Distinguished Educator program and the Consortium for School Networking.
