Baltimore City has 17 Head Start programs operated by 14 delegate agencies. The Head Start Program for 3-5 year olds serves over 3400 children. Early Head Start, which serves pregnant women and kids up to 3 years old, serves over 200 throughout the City. Barb serves as the Assisant Coordinator for Preschool Programs, with oversight of close to 200 classrooms. She is an extremely skilled and committed person,and an innovative and supportive supervisor. And Barb always has a sense of humor, so important in her hard job.
