“The standard for such an award is high, and you should be very proud that she is an integral part of your school district,” said MASN President Linda Evans. “MASN is proud to have her as a member, representing school nurse administrators across the state”.
Along with her high-quality service to LPS, Ellermeier is very active in the health services field at both the local and national levels, presenting at various conferences. She actively participates on numerous health-related committees, ranging from those at the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the Missouri Association of School Nurses, the Clay County Public Health Center, and Liberty Public Schools. “Kathy is a shining example of the leadership we are so fortunate to have throughout our school district,” said LPS Superintendent Mike Brewer. “Kathy possesses incredible leadership skills and knowledge in the health services field and she constantly works to do what is best for each and every child in our district. It is a privilege to lead, support, and serve our team in the mutual goal to provide for student health needs, so they can be successful learners in the classroom.”
