About the Nominee
Brief Comments - What other facts should we know about your nominee?
Ms. Jessica is my son's 3 year old preschool teacher and we could not be more pleased. She greets all the children every morning with a 'hello and hug' and takes a sincere interest in each child's needs. Since being in Ms. Jessica's class, my son has learned how to: hold a pencil and write his name, sing new songs to us at home, use his imagination in coloring detailed drawings, beginning math and shape recognition and most importantly (at this age) manners and how to socialize with his other 3 year old friends. Ms. Jessica is a wonderful, nurturing role model -- not to mention very patient and organized and we feel very deserving of this award.

"Ms. V" as we all fondly call her is one of our favorite teachers at our son's preschool. She ALWAYS has a smile on her face and a hop in her step -- which is very fitting as she is the children's creative movement teacher. My son looks forward to going to Ms. V's class everyday as she always makes the day something new and fun and most importantly, gets the kids exercising and moving! Ms. V is also very special because she has such a positive attitude -- teaching/work does not seem like a chore or obligation to her but something she truly enjoys! Ms. V is a role model to all the children in the school and they are lucky to have her as their teacher.
