Marie is a forward thinking, dynamic school nurse that puts her students first. She saw a need to make breakfast a part of every students morning and developed a brakfast program that includes every student. In the rush of mornings many students skip breakfast. This can be due to not having breakfast available or a choice to skip breakfast. As she developed the logo, GET YOUR THINK ON..IT ALL BEGINS WITH BREAKFAST, many activites followed. She has hosted celebrity weeks where important figures in the community are invited to have breakfast with the students, and mystery students that handed out samples of the foods. All that she accomplished demonstrates her knowledge, attitude, positive outcome and excellent role model that she is.
