What people are saying...
"As a parenting writer and a mother of four, I've seen firsthand that our children’s education is a joint effort between almost every adult with whom our children come in contact on a regular basis. Whether or not they hold a degree in education, those who support and encourage our children both in and out of the classroom deserve special recognition for their impact on our children’s intellectual, social, and emotional development.”

We at Creme de la Creme are fortunate to have her as a resource who is always there for us and who makes us feel comfortable and welcome to go to her for advice. She shares her time with us happily and helps us use our talents constructively for the betterment of the children. It's all about the children; that is an educator's mantra. Jody represents the best of what we have to offer. She is the Creme de la Creme.

About the Nominee
Brief Comments - What other facts should we know about your nominee?
Laura is a bright, talented person who has a sense of right and wrong and fairness, and because of this, she has earned my respect.
I am proud, pleased and honored to nominate her because she is a young woman who refuses to give up on anyone. Laura’s ability to specifically meet and challenge the individual needs of her students is impressive and uncommon in an education system that is undermanned and overworked. As any other teacher, Laura has some challenging students in her class. She never compartmentalizes these children, but rather, she treats them as she treats all the others: with compassion, consideration and respect.
