Nancy is a superb professor. She is absolutely amazing. She is deeply committed to her work and devotes endless hours to teaching. She genuinely cares about each child in her class. For instance, she attends their birthday parties, dance recitals, and sporting events. You simply could not select a more deserving teacher for this award.

Ms.Nancy is amazing,patient,kind,energetic,intune,creative and deeply loves all the children who come through her classroom doors. She lives up to the definition of a teacher who inspires and cares. My daughter Lilly has flourished since going to Ms. Nancy's class. She is one of the best things that came to into Lilly's life. She looks forward to learning new things everyday!

My grandson loves Ms. Nancy! You can tell she loves what she does. Even though she has a full time job and her own family, she goes that extra step by surprising her students at their birthday parties, sporting events etc... Teachers like her are very special and I'm happy I have that opportunity to tell her thank you by casting my vote for her.

Ms. Nancy is an amazing teacher! I really enjoy working with her and learning from her. She has so many ideas and she loves to share them with not only me but all of her co-workers! She enjoys what she does and she always has a smile on her face and she is always giving hugs and that makes me feel great! She always ask how your doing and she cares how everything is going. I have enjoyed working with her and I will continue to enjoy working with her. She has overcame so much and she is as happy as a person can be. The children love her and she loves all of the Children!

I have been working at the center For 6 years and i have gotten the wonderful opportunity to work with Nancy many times! She is definitely an inspiration and role model to me and i have gotten many ideas from her teaching for my future career as a teacher! She genuinely cares for each of her students as well as coworkers. She is fun and full of energy and always has the greatest ideas, and is willing to help others with their classrooms.

There is no one more patient and caring and good with children than Nancy.

I have only worked with Nancy for one school year and I have already learned so much from her! The way she runs her classroom is so possitive and encouraging. All of her students know how much she loves them and love her just as much. Nancy is fun, fair, and energetic. Any preschooler is lucky to have her as their teacher! As a co-worker Nancy is supportive and so much fun to be around. We can always count on Nancy for a good laugh and great ideas!

During her formative years, Nancy was always friendly to everyone, caring, a sense of humor, reliable, and ambitious to follow her dreams. Reverence for God and love of family has always been very important in her life. Consequently, as a teacher of the young child, Nancy's little students have been her second family, and she nourishes them thru her love, teaching them respect, honesty, getting along with each other and early academic training, which is so necessary in the beginning of a child's life. Nancy is so dedicated to her profession, that she spends extra hours at the library, attends workshops and many saturdays and sundays setting up the learning centers in the classroom, so these children can grow in their skills and learning abilities. She also makes a point to attend their birthday parties. After her bout with cancer a few years ago, Nancy continued teaching and kept just as close to her class, as well as her family during that difficult period of her life. These children were actually returning to her the same love she had been giving them. As a mother of 5 daughters and 2 grandchildren, she always finds time for each of them as well as her husband, her parents and brother and sister. Nancy's achievements as a teacher have been incredible for having received the Gulf Coast and Texas Teacher of the Year Awards for the Education of Young Children. But more than that, as her parents, we are proud of the genuine person she has become.

Nancy learned very early how to go above and beyond.
