In every category, Marianne is more than a "5" -- she is a solid "10." For decades, she has had the vision and foresight to collaborate, plan and execute numerous initiatives responsive to the needs of children, families and communities served through Head Start and Early Head Start. When I started as a Head Start Director in 1999, and since that time, she has been more than generous with her time and expertise in mentoring me. She is a role model of best practice throughout New England and nationally. She is a 21st century leader whose use of technology, planning and data-driven decision-making is continually focused on optimizing outcomes for children and families. She has established a level of quality and professionalism, in programming and advocacy, that is to be emulated by all who work in the field of education, health or human services.

From the great mind of Marianne Miller... If you do what is in the best interest of children... then you are doing the right thing. Marianne runs such a sound and excellent Head Start program. She values her staff and lives up to the high expectations she has for herself and others. It's truly an honor to have Marianne Miller as a Director and mentor.
