Shawnae was named a 2011 Teacher of the Year by the National Association for Physical Education. She has also been named 2010 PDGA Disc Golf Educator of the Year, 2009 Idaho Secondary PE Teacher of the Year, and 2010 NW District Secondary PE Teacher of the Year.
