About the Nominee
Brief Comments - What other facts should we know about your nominee?
Not often to you find a person who impacts you so deeply that you are compelled to transform your own practice forever. Dr. Jackson transformed me! As an educator, her work, passion, and training has resonated through me in all aspects of my career. She is not only a keynote speaker and author, she is an outstanding teacher and practitioner who still works in classrooms and with students to demonstrate the theory in practice. I have a visionary wall which holds four pictures of the people who inspire me for their contributions and ability to transform our world and thought. I look at those pictures on many days to find inspiration and to remember that one person can change the world. The four pictures that hang there are Oprah Winfrey, Walt Disney, Barack Obama, and Yvette Jackson.
