I could not ask for a better school Principle for my children. Mr. Cervello genuinely cares for the children who attend West Blvd. Elementary school and this is reflected in all the achievements the school has received. He has shown that having a good leader produces positive results for the staff and students. I am proud that my children attend West Blvd. and have gained such an outstanding foundation in education for their future achievements.

Mr. Cervello gives parents something to be proud of (besides our children).

He was a great principal. I liked how he had a theme every year.

As a mother of three, I have never met such a dedicated principal as Mr. Cervello. I have two children attending West Blvd. and one waiting to attend in 2013. Every morning I drop my kids off at school, Mr. Cervello is out in the parking lot making sure that everything goes smoothly-whether it be rain or shine, he is out there. That's what I call dedicated. West Blvd. has received a Blue Ribbon Award because of the great work he has accomplished and his encouragement to all the teachers-who have also excelled in working with our kids. I have no complaints. I have been told to put my kids in a private institution in order for them to get a better education; However, I believe that my kids are receiving the best education they can get at West Blvd. and I am not ashamed to say it.

Well said by Ms. Geraci. Our third child will begin at West Blvd this fall and we are blessed to have Mr. Cervello as our principal. He is a constant presence at the school and its functions. The students look up to him and he knows them all by name, making each feel special.
The theme for this academic year is "Team West." Without a doubt, Mr. Cervello has included himself, teachers, staff, students, and parents on the team - everyone working together for the best education and well-rounded experience of our children. He is an exceptional leader and role model, setting a wonderful example for those around him of all ages.

My daughter is in second grade, she loves school and the one thing that often stands out in her telling us about her day, is she always has a story to share about Mr. Cervello. It could be a story about how some kids got sent to his office, or stories about the Cubs being his favorite baseball team or just what an amazing Principal he is. He is great with the kids and really is an incredible asset to the school district.

My granddaughter really likes Mr. Cervello. He seems very approachable to the students and their families which is a great quality especially in elementary school. Hopefully, her positive respect for him and the staff and the good experiences she has had will carry her through to middle and high school.

I have two daughters at West Blvd Elem. One is in 2nd grade and one is in Kindergarten. They adore Mr. Cervello. He goes out of his way to make the students and parents feel welcome. You can tell when he speaks to you as an individual or in a group setting he really cares about the students.

I have a son in second grade at West. Blvd. Elem. I am proud to say he attends this school! Mr. Cervello is a wonderful leader and role model for his students. He gets to know them all and they truly appreciate that. He makes it fun to attend school when they are just begining their educational career. The students, staff and parents all enjoy everything he does all year round.

I have a daughter Calie in kindergarten this year at West Boulevard and I couldn't agree more that our principle Mr. Cervello deserves the Bammy's award. He truly cares for his students, staff members and the parents as well. There is nothing more reassuring to a parent dropping their child off at school, then to see your very own principle no matter the weather in the parking lot greeting each child or car with a wave and a smile. It just makes a parent feel secure knowing that he will be there watching over your child and keeping each and every one of them safe. My daughter loves when she is greeted from Al and feels very special. As a new member of the PTA this year, I can tell you that no matter the cause Mr. Cervello is always there giving 110%. He even participated in a baby shower us moms had for one of his staff members Mrs. Schmied. He is a remarkable man and the best principle, and we are very blessed to have him. Our school received the Blue Ribbon Award for academic excellence this year and you can understand why. It starts with having a great leader and the best staff. Al, not only wants the best for each child academically but for them to excel socially as well. I am so proud to have a child in the Boardman schools at West Boulevard who will not only learn from the best teachers but will see and experience a great principle who cares deeply about all of his children!!!!!
